Royal IHC places order for hydraulics training.co.uk

An agreement was signed with Royal IHC this month whereby Royal IHC employees will have the opportunity to access all modules of our hydraulicstraining.co.uk for the next 3 years.

To this end, our training modules are housed in Plusport's digital environment. Royal IHC also has a direct link for their LMS (Learning Management System) with this Plusport platform. The great advantage for the approximately 3,000 Royal IHC employees here is that they can access our training modules directly from their own computer network.

This assignment is yet another confirmation of the fact that our training courses have great technical content. We therefore wish all Royal IHC employees every success with this efficient learning method.

Classroom training in Proportional and Servo technology

This month, a classroom training course on Proportional and Servo Technology was given to a group of specialists at TATA Steel in IJmuiden. In terms of content, the training is almost identical to the book "Motion Control in Offshore and Dredging" by P.Albers.
At TATA's request, the 4-day training course added a lot of additional information of the specific servo valves and controls in use at TATA.
Moreover, to get a good sense of the effect of various kinds of control loops and controllers, the trainees could all use the simulation package 20-sim (@).

Due to multiple requests from the market for classroom training at this level, 2019 will see planning for several such training sessions for other companies.
